If you want to hunt wild, long tail- feathered birds that will flat out excite, humble, and scare the stuffing out of you when they get up cackling, then we are the place for you

• Please call or email with any questions. We will work with you directly to help you get a hunt that is meant for you. You will reach us, the owners directly, and we will work with you to see if we can find a fit that works. You will have our direct phone and email which means personal assistance and honest, straightforward advice on what you can reasonably expect from us. We utilize cameras, and have boots on the ground daily monitoring the habitat and wildlife. 

• We can provide you with honest, upfront forecasting and firsthand knowledge for what the bird numbers are shaping up to be before season. Mother Nature and other variables can change any situation, but we will always give you straight answers, even if we have to tell you a season may be looking tough for whatever reason.

• These are hunts folks and not a shoot; you may get a limit, you may not, but you will get our best efforts to get you what you are looking for in the field. 
• Year after year this land has produced more pheasants than can be harvested. South Dakota pheasant numbers have been amazing lately. 

• Previously, this ground was hunted by family and friends. Incredibly, the ground was last hunted for pheasants by a hunt party in October 2022. 
• For the first time in 3 years, group hunts will now be available starting in October 2025.
• Dustin Garber has walked this ground over 40 years and has learned how to approach pheasants.

Fall of 2025 Status

• Bird numbers are stellar.

• The country is green the crops and grass are very nice. 

• Food plots are thick. We will have sorghum mixed plots with milo, millet, kane, and flowers. If you have long haired dogs this may be a problem as the cockleburs took us by surprise this year. Some paths have been mowed but protective brush chaps would be highly recommended and care with dogs. 

• Corn strip plots look to be nice.

• Plums are full and falling all around the ground.

• Trees are healthy, new tree lines planted in the spring.

• Dam area is holding enough water to get through this fall; birds will be piled in there to drink this fall. The spring of '25 we had very little snow melt and the runoff that usually overflows our dam area was nonexistent. Luckily, we received very nice, timely rains throughout 2025 and the countryside looks very nice. 

• Two grass plantings are tall, full, productive bird cover consisting of switchgrass, wheatgrasses, and alfalfa. CRP looks excellent.

• Pheasant hunts will be start at $180/gun. 
• Pricing may vary depending on the situation. We are open to options, and want to hear from you on what you would want from us to help you hunt your way. 

• The hunts are all on one site, in a walk, block type setup. We can meet with you for a a safety discussion, tour, or look at well defined maps and property lines. Other options include guiding or assisting you in the field. 

• Imagine a hunt meant for you. You can decide which direction to go, how to approach your special time in the field. Do you walk a low lying dam area lined with food plots and trees,  or do you walk corn strips to the south, maybe you pull into the Morton Building and can't resist the cackling of roosters in the CRP and cedars all around you. It is hard for us to paint a picture for you, but we think your photo album and heart will be full after a visit to our place. 

• 2 Day hunts are recommended with a hunt party of 6 or more.  The more hunters the better but we will do what we can to work with smaller hunt parties and the occasional day hunt.
